Loving our new Danner 600G Canadian Hunting Boots

2 November 15, 2010
Very satisfied with our new Danner 600G Canadian Hunting Boots. Put'em through 20 miles of slogging through swamps and over rugged peaks this weekend and they didn't disappoint for a second. No, sir; just the opposite. Sure they cost $300+ but what's that when you consider a lifetime of comfortable hiking? Plus knowing that they're made in the US by a spirited company that'll even recraft/fix-up your smelly old boots if you want them to... There are some things in life where compromise isn't a good idea. Boots are one. Shaving cream is another. But that's just our opinion!

Yup those Converse shoes wouldn’t hold up too well in the mountains! I hear hiking boots are all the rage in the city this fall… ?

Sounds like a real boot alright. Kinda puts my ‘hiking boots’ of choice – high top Converse shoes – to shame!
