"Never half-ass two things; whole-ass one thing."

Ollie Burruss October 30, 2013

In case you're wondering, the timeless advice in the title of this blog post comes from everyone's favorite municipal government philosopher, Ron Swanson.

Carmen, Nicole, and I (aka Ursa Major's "younger set") all are fans of Parks & Recreation, that seldom-watched, always hilarious sitcom that brought Mr. Swanson into all our lives four years ago.  Imagine the shock, surprise, and flat-out giddiness when we learned yesterday that Nick Offerman, who plays - actually embodies - Swanson, had been cleaned up and invigorated by our 'super natural' skin care products prior to appearing on the Daily Show on Monday night.

A little background: Offerman had his pre-show prep done by Anna Bernabe, an NYC-based men's hairstylist and grooming expert who works with some very accomplished talent.  Bernabe reached out to us at the beginning of the summer and has been using Ursa Major products in her grooming arsenal ever since.

When Anna uses one of our products on a client she mentions it on her Instagram feed - it's pretty cool to be poking around on the web, come across a picture of Offerman, or Michael Shannon, or Michael Fassbender, and know that Anna trusted our products to make sure these guys looked their very best for prime time.  Yeah!

Anna seems partial our Face Balm and Face Wipes... We're honored that she's chosen to use Ursa Major products as part of her craft.  Who knows, maybe one day we'll wind up on the Swanson list of official recommendations, alongside US Army-issued mustache trimmers, Morton’s Salt, and the C.R. Lawrence Fein two inch axe-style scraper oscillating knife blade?
