Support American-Made Goods

I learned something compelling last week: each dollar spent on American-made products fuels another $1.40 of spending elsewhere in the U.S. economy.  Furthermore, according to ABC News, if each American spent $64 on American-made goods, we’d be able to create 200,000 new jobs.  200,000 may not be a lot when we’re facing 11.3 million Americans without work, but you’ve got to start somewhere, right?

This holiday season Ursa Major has signed on as a supporter of two "made in the USA" initiatives, Maker’s Monday and The Bluelace Project.  Both efforts are aimed at supporting companies that manufacture goods in the United States by urging consumers to buy American.  Hats off to the organizers of both programs.  We’re excited to be participating and encourage our customers to do the same.
