Fly fishing Instagrammers to follow

Christine Mitchell Adams April 11, 2016

Avid angler? Or eager to give fly fishing a try? We've put together a list of a few of our favorite fly fishing Instagrammers who will inspire you to dust off your rod and get back out there, or pick up the sport for the first time. What are your favorite fly fishing Instagram accounts? Share in the comments!

@maddiebrenneman
Maddie Brenneman is never one to say no to a day on the river. She's been a travel specialist for the likes of Outside Magazine and is now a heady fly fishing guide at a ranch in Colorado. Needless to say, she fishes most days out of the year from Colorado to Belize.

@raising_gus
For Mike and Aimee Eaton, fly fishing is a family affair. They spent 2015 fishing every major game fish in the United States, with their young son Gus in tow. Wonder where 2016 will take them!

@western_rise
Will and Kelly Watters founded their mountain sports/lifestyle apparel brand Western Rise in Telluride, CO. Their brand's Instagram unfailingly captures their adventurous mountain life - from being on the river at dawn to beers with friends after a full day of fishing.

@fordyates
Ford Yates hails from Texas and spends his time taking photos of his fishing and hunting adventures across the country.

@facelessfishing
This is the Instagram account of Alberta-based photographers Darcy Toner and Timbre Pringle. Their feed is filled with their own incredible photography of fly fishing in stunning surroundings and catching beautiful fish.
