FAQs

Is Botanic Buzz Hand Wash antibacterial?

No, this hand wash is not. In order to claim a soap as antibacterial, we would be required to use ingredients that we chose not to formulate with. Fortunately, regular soap is just as effective at cleaning your hands and neutralizing bacteria (FDA source).

What is the pH level of this hand wash?

The pH range is 5.75-6.15.

Can I use this product on my face?

This is a gentle cleanser formulated for hands, and as such, its pH range is a little above what you’d want to use on your face. If you’re looking for a facial cleanser, we’d suggest using our Fantastic Face Wash or Making Moves Milky Cleanser.

Can I use this product while nursing or pregnant?

This hand wash does not contain any ingredients that are commonly avoided during pregnancy (like vitamin A and salicylates), but we always recommend checking in with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.

Is this product safe for children to use?

Yes, Botanic Buzz Hand Wash is safe for children of all ages. If your child has a history of sensitive skin, we recommend conducting a small patch test before use, and/or consulting your child’s pediatrician first.

Is this product gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free?

Botanic Buzz Hand Wash is formulated without gluten, soy, or nuts (except for coconut). However, it is manufactured in a facility that does use those ingredients, so we cannot guarantee that cross-contamination has not occurred.

What if I don’t love it?

We totally understand that skincare is not one-size-fits-all and that everyone’s skin is unique. If you are not satisfied with your Ursa Major products, you may return your product for a full refund or store credit within 30 days of receiving your order.

Do you offer free shipping?

We happily offer free standard shipping via DHL/USPS for all domestic orders $40+ placed on our website. Orders below $40 will ship via DHL/USPS for a flat $7 fee.
