FAQs

Should I use these or the tonic? What’s the difference?

We originally created these wipes as a way for customers to sample our Essential Face Tonic—only to find out that they were a huge hit in and of themselves! We like using our tonic on a cotton round when at home, and reaching for a face wipe when we need a quick skin reset—after the gym, work, a long flight, a late night, or on the go.

Do these remove makeup?

You bet! These mighty little wipes effectively remove sweat, grime, SPF and makeup, including eye liner, eye shadow, and mascara.

Can I use these on my body?

Though we designed our Essential Face Wipes with the face in mind, they are perfectly safe to use on the neck, chest, underarms, or anywhere else that needs a quick refresh in a pinch.

Do these contain fragrance?

Our Essential Face Wipes have a fresh, herbal aroma that comes entirely from real plant extracts—zero synthetic fragrances.

Are these pregnancy-safe?

Our face wipes contain Willow Bark, a natural source of salicylic acid (a type of BHA). While salicylic acid is an ingredient typically avoided during pregnancy, it is included in this product at a very low amount.

That said, we always recommend checking in with your healthcare provider about ingredient lists and any new products during pregnancy.

What if I don’t love it?

We totally understand that skincare is not one-size-fits-all and that everyone’s skin is unique. If you are not satisfied with your Ursa Major products, you may return your product for a full refund or store credit within 30 days of receiving your order.

Do you offer free shipping?

We happily offer free standard shipping via DHL/USPS for all domestic orders $40+ placed on our website. Orders below $40 will ship via DHL/USPS for a flat $7 fee.
