Golden Hour is a deeply hydrating, fast-absorbing face cream designed to nourish and replenish weary skin. It delivers deep, long-lasting moisture, helps soothe redness and irritation, firms skin and improves the look of lines, and protects against environmental stressors. Think of it as a one-jar solution to restore calm, hydrated, healthy-looking skin—whether you're winding down after a long day outdoors or just looking for a moisturizer that truly delivers.

The formula is built around a powerhouse lineup of plant-derived actives: Organic Sea Buckthorn (rich in antioxidants and omega fatty acids to replenish the skin barrier and lock in moisture), Black Currant (high in essential fatty acids and Vitamin C to help improve the appearance of firmness and elasticity), Organic Calendula (a natural source of carotenoids that soothes, hydrates, and conditions skin), Sunflower (extremely high in linoleic acid to help skin hold onto moisture), Rose (helps reduce the appearance of redness), Sandalwood (hydrates, tones, and soothes), and Meadowfoam Seed Oil (a luxurious emollient for barrier repair). The formula is naturally rich in antioxidants, vitamins A, C, and E, carotenoids, phytosterols, and essential fatty acids including omega 3, 6, 7, and 9. Golden Hour is packed with soothing ingredients (calendula, aloe vera, rose) that are gentle on sensitive skin, and the overwhelming majority of sensitive-skin customers report excellent results. That said, the formula does contain essential oils (neroli, sandalwood, rose, palmarosa), which can occasionally cause reactions in those with very reactive skin. Golden Hour Recovery Cream hasn’t been tested specifically for the eye area, so we’d recommend applying only to the face.

Both are moisturizers, but they offer  different hydration levels. Golden Hour has a midweight texture—hydrating but not heavy—making it an excellent all-around daily moisturizer for most skin types. Alpine Rich Cream is thicker and richer, designed specifically for very dry, sensitive, or mature skin that needs maximum barrier support. If your skin tends to be parched year-round, go with Alpine Rich. If you want everyday hydration with a lighter feel, Golden Hour is your match.

Fortifying Gel is our lightest moisturizer—a serum-like gel best suited for oily, combination, or acne-prone skin. Golden Hour offers more nourishment and richness, ideal for normal-to-dry skin or anyone recovering from environmental exposure. If you're somewhere in between, Golden Hour's fast-absorbing formula won't feel too heavy.
